Greenpeace at CES
Earlier this month I went as part of Greenpeace’s Electronics Campaign Team to CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. There we released GP’s latest “Guide to Greener Electronics”, rating the major companies in how they compare in their sustainability. Factors considered include: Are they using Toxic Materials in their products? Do they dump “E-Waste” in third-world countries? How efficient are their products and manufacturing methods?
The show itself was a blast to experience. 3D everything seemed to be the big new thing. 3D 3D 3D?! They’re really going for it. Oh, and touch-screen everything. I was looking for a touch-screen toothbrush, but didn’t find anything. What I did find was a solar-powered cell-phone by LG, which was pretty cool.

“Oh Goodbye”, Oh Complete!!

After a couple months of preschool-kid wrangling, gorilla-suiting, paper-animating, and computer tippity tapping, the video I’ve directed for The Colourist’s “Oh Goodbye” single is virtually complete!!!! Just going to do a final few tweaks upon suggestions from the band, and then put the final stamp of approval on this baby.
PREMIERE-PARTY on the 31st of this month!!!!! The Colourist’s CD-release, and grand-premiere for the “Oh Goodbye” video at the Yost Theater, Santa Ana, CA, next Friday the 31st!!!!!! It’s going to be one massive hooplah of a party. Be there!

and…. He’s Back!
Hey, Back in LA, finally! New apartment, glad to be planted in one spot finally! It’s been almost a year and a half!
Working on a few different projects at the moment: finishing up The Colourist “Oh Goodbye” video, editing my Mumbai Aid-Org Doc, developing a huge project I’ll be directing for Marina Medical, and some other oddies. Busy busy!
I have boarded the production sub…. DIVE DIVE… we’ll see where I resurface.

The Colourist - Oh Goodbye Video
Filming for The Colourist’s “Oh Goodbye” Music Video was completed over this past weekend. “Oh Goodbye” is the new single from the band’s soon-to-be-released EP, due June. Check them out here: www.thecolouristmusic.com . The video is being directed by yours truly.
Look forward to some exciting action involving preschoolers, gorillas, stop-motion animation, bar-fights, Christmas lights, mansions, and some serious rocking out.

Forward Progress
Slowly and surely the website is coming together. I am happy with the progress. Which is always nice.
